The following information is about the Exmark Lazer Z S-series. These mowers come with mowing widths of 48", 52", 60" and 72". The mower decks on all these are Exmark's UltraCut Series 4 decks. The mower deck top is 10 gauge steel and the skirt is 7 gauge steel. Support from a Panhard rod 4-point suspension system gives these decks good stability and reduced mechanical wear. A single large 12 gallon fuel tank is mounted under the operator seat. The pneumatic front caster tires are smoth-treaded: size 13 x 5.0-6 (larger 13 x 6.5-6 on the 60" and 72" mowers). The rear drive tires are Carlisle Turf Master tires, 23 x 9.5-12 on the 48" and 52" mowers and 24 x 12-12 TurfMasters on the 60" and 72". The hydrostatic drive system consists of unitized Parker hydro pumps and wheel motors. The design is exclusive to Exmark. A lever-actuated disc parking brake is standard. The E-series comes with a variety of engine options, including the Kohler Command, Kawasaki V-twin FX, and Kohler electronic fuel-injected engines.
